We ran into a few hose and nozzle bidets in Portugal, but in America? You have great luck! (Perhaps it was after 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act...)
They have those in the hospital in Labor and Delivery. I would never use them becuase I think it's gross that others (strangers) had. While visiting me, my kids were all about finding out what it did and was for. My response was-WASH YOUR HANDS! You never know who used them and if they had been cleaned. :{
I've come across bidet's in my travels, but never any of the "hose and nozzle" variety.

Ha... I see those in my foreign travels to... Dubai is the last place I recall. Maybe your coworkers from the UAE installed it? lol
I can't even imagine using a manual bidet after another person. That's just kind of gross.
